Alexander Kiermayer M.Sc.
I am a freelance electrical engineer and founded Ingenieurbüro Kiermayer in April 2019, my own engineering bureau. Previously, I worked for more than ten years for various companies in embedded software and electronics development, as well as in research and teaching at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. I worked in various projects with different teams and a wide variety of topics and technologies.
To be self-employed gives me more freedom in project selection and development and the possibility to support you in your projects in a cost- and time-efficient way. My focus is on microcontroller-based applications, analog and digital circuit design and PCB design.
I consider a customer-oriented approach and clear communication as key to a successful project. Through short iteration cycles and continuous feedback, you are up to date at any time of the project and thus able to influence the further course of development at short notice. Cost- and time-intensive changes are thus effectively avoided.
Since the company was founded, I have already been able to provide targeted support to several startups with the development of prototypes and their modification, even in critical phases of the project. Through these close collaborations I understand what it means to quickly realize initial functional samples with a limited budget. A subsequent transfer to series production guarantees robustness and manufacturability and serves to optimize costs.
